The outer Polytran cover is water resistant and vapour permeable, helping protect the mattress while supporting a more hygienic sleeping environment. A concealed zip allows the cover to be removed for machine washing at up to 70°C, which is especially useful in MOD accommodation, hostels, hotels, IRC facilities, activity centres, schools, staff housing and public-sector projects.
The mattress is supplied in two standard depths, 4in and 6in, and is available in multiple widths from 2ft6 to 4ft6. Non-standard sizes can also be produced on request for specific room layouts or bed-frame requirements.
