The Community Double Bunk Bed is a heavy-duty two-tier bed designed for hostels, universities, schools, charities, staff housing and other high-occupancy environments.
Manufactured in the UK from mild steel, it combines welded mesh mattress platforms with a protective RAL powder-coated finish. The universal ladder configuration offers greater installation flexibility, while fixing plates welded to the legs allow the frame to be secured to a suitable floor where additional stability is required.
The standard model accommodates two 3ft single mattresses and is available with either rounded or straight bed ends.

The Community Double Bunk Bed provides a durable and economical sleeping solution for organisations managing shared accommodation.
Its two-tier configuration accommodates two people within the footprint of one standard single bed, making it suitable for hostels, student residences, schools, staff housing, charities, lodges and temporary accommodation projects.
The frame is manufactured from mild steel and protected with a hygienic RAL powder-coated finish. This creates a smooth, easy-to-clean surface while helping protect the metal against everyday wear and minor damage.
A combined universal ladder and guard-rail assembly provides practical access to the upper tier. One full-length guard rail offers additional protection along the exposed side of the upper sleeping platform.
Fixing plates are welded to the frame legs upon request, allowing the bunk bed to be bolted to a suitable floor where required. Alternatively, it may be used as a free-standing bed where the room and installation conditions permit.
Two bed-end designs are available: rounded or straight.
